My name is Ocean. When I was about 8 weeks old, I was rescued by Whisker Haven from a high kill shelter. I was very very sick. I came to the rescue completely emaciated. I didn't want to eat and I had a severe upper respiratory infection. I had a ton of discharge in my eyes and out of my nose and I couldn't breathe very well. It took me a few days, but with a very persistent rescue mom, I slowly started to get better and started eating on my own. I am now happy and eating well and playing. I love to be around people and will follow you around. Currently, I'm still struggling with some congestion but no longer have any other symptoms. We are hoping to find out why I'm consistently congested soon. I have been on multiple rounds of antibiotics but have already tested negative for FELV/FIV. I am hoping to find a forever home or a local foster home that is willing to deal with my stuffiness until I'm better or they can figure out what the root cause is. I'm currently under pre-adoption and am 16wks old.
